A little back story about who we are and what we do.

Alan & Heidi – Love Story Photography’s owners – met while working at a daily newspaper, fell in love and have been together for almost 24 years.

After helping a family member plan and photograph their big day, they realized that they truly loved weddings, Weddings are swirling with happy emotions and people committed to taking their relationship to a new level – how could you not enjoy being near all that? Initially Heidi was a wedding planner to our photography clients but is now a full time professional wedding officiant with her own company – LoveStory Vows. Alan loved spending the best day of his couple’s lives capturing awesome images of the beginning of their Love Story.

For the past 10 years, Love Story Photography has grown with the help of our team of amazing photographers. They wanted to find photographers who were really good people AND fantastic photographers – it’s harder than it sounds! Ones that would take excellent care of their couples… to help them have fun and truly enjoy their wedding day. Their “photography family” has grown and is made up of wonderful people who were carefully chosen after meeting literally, hundreds of photographers.

The team has a diverse background of experiences, cultures and off-time interests. There are a few off-roaders (Alan’s one of those too) that love to play in the mud and snow. They enjoy fishing, mountain biking, fencing, hiking, flying planes (yes!), being good puppy parents, and one of our photographers is currently in nursing school too! Several are lovers of road trips and visiting far-off corners of the country. Alan and Heidi adore these awesome people and are so proud to share their talent for documenting your Love Story with amazing images that will bring back your favorite memories forever.
